The Amphithéâtre
The Amphitheatre has 1000 m2 stage and a capacity of 2,800 seats in a 180° semicircle that can be increased to 3,200 seats by adding additional stands on the side stage.
The stage has exceptional technical equipment.
A hydraulic forestage can be used either to bring the audience right up to the stage level or as an orchestra pit.
This venue is unique as the audience can enter and leave via the stage where an external door at the back of the stage opens onto a 4,000 m2 public area.
A permanent control room at the back of the hall contains high quality technical equipment and various stage configurations can be used for plays, one-man shows, dance spectacles, musicals, singers, classical music concerts...

Stage
- Useable dimensions:
- Height of stage frame = 16 m (17 m under fixed platforms)
- Stage depth = 15.40 m excluding forestage (from backstage to Greek curtain fall line). The curtain is 2.50 m from the first row of seats (on the forestage).
- Width of stage frame = 49.50 m divided into 3 parts: Backstage access for unloading and loading equipment

Adjustable height (hydraulic) from a height of 0.00 m to about ? 2.00 m, either flat of in steps.- Width: 19 m
- Radius: 9.80 m
- Depth: 12 m
- SWL 750 daN/m2 (about 764 kg/m2)
- Stage extension - Surface area = 190 m2.
- Installation of 226 seats on a flat surface to form a 9.80 m radius semicircle including 2 passageways.
- Installation of 179 seats on 8 mobile platforms to form an 8.40 m radius semicircle.

Configurations
There are 11 possible configurations and 6 variations: they are created by suppressing unused blocks of seating using reduction nets/curtains, by covering blocks of seats, by using the forestage with 179 or 226 seats and by adding, or not, the lateral stands on the stage (in the court and garden).
